Hello there little faces, I hope you have an awesome day. Today I will write about Netflix‘s series Jessica Jones so if you haven’t watch it yet and you don’t want to learn any spoilers better leave now or stay and enjoy my little article.

Jessica Jones is the second series after Daredevil that is part of the Defenders. When she was a teenager, Jessica’s family got killed in an accident and she was the only survivor. After that Trish Walker, a girl from her school and famous actress, and her mom taking her to grow up with them and the two girls become best friends. A while ago she finds out that she has powers, super strength and super “jump”.

Years later, she decides to start helping others with her powers until Kilgrave find her and everything changes. He is a beautiful, dreamy man with a british accent and the power to control others mind. That the reason that Jessica can’t stay away from him. His psychopath ass controls her and she tries to find a way out. Kilgrave is one of the most well-written villains that I have ever “met” on a show and the thing that David Tennant plays the role makes the whole thing even better. Tennant is a really great actor and he can play just as well the bad and the good guy.

While Jessica was under Kilgrave’s influence, he made her kill a woman. When she got free and became a private investigator ( PI ) she went to find that woman’s husband and help him she never thought that she will fell in love with him but let’s face it. No one cannot resist to Luke Cage – yeah yeah the third Defender –.

As always, ( I don’t know why don’t ask me ) my favourite characters are not the lead roles. Jessica is fine, but!… Trish and Malcolm are my absolute favourite ones. When Trish grow up, she became a radio producer and she never stopped being friends with Jessica, even when she doesn’t want her to. She tries to help Jessica to catch Kilgrave and Will Simpson, who works for the police, team up with them as well. After an incident, Will takes some pills that they give him super strength but he can’t control it very well ( hello there dear supervillain Nuke ). When he tries to kill Jessica, who she is already hurt, Trish take one of Will’s pills to help her friend out. ( That’s how the heroine Hellcat was born. )

Now about Malcolm Ducasse. A “next door” guy that Kilgrave took him and made him work for him. Made him take drugs and live only with one purpose. To watch Jessica’s every move. When she found out, she helped him to recover from both, Kilgrave’s control and drugs and now it’s his turn to help his friend out.

The series was pretty good and on 2018 we will have the second one. Specially Tennant’s hypocritical skills were on point as always. Tell me what you think in the comments below or on my facebook page.
