Weekly Update: 4th week of January 2020

Hello – hello my little faces. I hope you’re all great. Let’s see what I watched this week.

THIS POST CONTAINS SPOILERS.

Prodigal Son ( 1×11 )
After The Junkyard Killer took Malcolm, his team and the FBI trying to find him everywhere. Gil asks Martin’s help to find where his ex-associate may have his son and Martin helps him. The Junkyard Killer tells Malcolm the truth about that trip back when he was a kid with his father. Apparently, Malcolm had started to remember what is going on and the two men agreed to kill him but Martin as his father he regretted it at the last minute. While everyone tries to find him, Dani is really worried and remembers some iconic scenes that she had with him ( as like, when he gave her that lollipop, when they danced together and that time which she helped him get over a nightmare… MAKE THEM A COUPLE YOU COWARDS ). The Junkyard Killer stabs Malcolm and he realizes that they are not at the camping but at his mother’s house, where she is at the moment with his sister. The bad guy tries to kill them both, but Malcolm manages to save them. ( Have I mention how proud I am for him? ’cause I am! )

9-1-1: Lone Star ( 1×01 & 1×02 )
This week we got the series premiere of “9-1-1: Lone Star”, the spin-off series of “9-1-1”. It was a double one and enough to get to know everyone and immediately fall in love with them. The thematology is known ( if you’re watching 9-1-1 ). It’s about a fire department in Texas and the first responders; cops, firefighters, paramedics and of course the 9-1-1 call center. At the same time, we see their lives as well and how they deal with their personal problems alongside their work and stay on track. Great started, with beautifully written characters, diversity and of course couples to ship. ( wink – wink )

Arrow ( 8×08 )
I finally found the strength to watch the last two parts of the “Crisis on Infinite Earths” and I’m crying like a baby. I mean, I already knew that Oliver will sacrifice himself in order for the Universe to reborn, but actually watching happen hurt me more than I could think. Green Arrow was always my favorite hero, years before “Arrow” starts and Stephen Amell as Oliver made me love this character even more. Losing him is like losing a member of my family. I really pray and hope that the writers will not let this end that way. The end of the series is close ( it ends on 10th episode ) and I know that the 9th one is actually the introduction of the new spin-off series “Green Arrow and The Canaries” so, my only hope is the last one… We can only wait and see.

Legends of Tomorrow ( 5×01 )
Am I sad that Oliver died? If you read just the above paragraph I’m pretty sure that you know… But I couldn’t be prouder of him.! He created a new multiverse, while he united his friends in one Earth and gave space to more people to become heroes on the others. We saw Titans, Stargirl and her team, Doom Patrol, Green Lantern‘s Earth… ( Well done writers, bring him back now ) His friends found a way to stop Anti-Monitor and Barry ( The Flash ) created the “Justice League” even if doesn’t know it ( yet ). And the greatest thing of all?? WE GOT BABY SARA BACK!

I also watched:  Las chicas del cable ( 1×04 – 2×02 ), Doctor Who ( 12×04 ), Criminal Minds ( 15×03 & 15×04 ), Arrow ( 8×09 ), Supergirl ( 5×10 ), Legacies ( 2×09 & 2×10 ), Chicago PD ( 7×12 ), Legends of Tomorrow ( 5×02 ), Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina ( 3×01 – 3×05 ), Charmed ( 2×09 & 2×10 ), Sex Education ( 1×01 – 1×05 ).
