Weekly Update: 2nd week of December 2019

Hello – hello my little faces and have a lovely Sunday. Let’s see what I watched this week.

THIS POST CONTAINS SPOILERS.

Supergirl ( 5×09 )
The first part of the huge ArrowVerse crossover was dope! The “Crisis on Infinite Earths” has begun ( as Lyla said ) and I’m already a mess. Lyla after became Harbinger, went and took The Flash, Green Arrow and Mia, White Canary and Atom, Superman and Lois and finally Batwoman and transferred them to Supergirl’s Earth in order to save the planet. Alex with the help of Lena created a portal for the spaceships full of Humans from Earth-38 to travel to Earth-1. In order to keep more time for people to make it on the ships, Oliver sacrificed himself but his action only, saved 1 billion people. RIP my beautiful vigilante/hero. You will always be in our hearts. ( Well, truth be told I don’t believe that he’s dead but we have to wait and see…)

Batwoman ( 1×09 )
Multiple Earths, multiple Supermen, multiple Clark Kents for Lex to kill. That’s the summary of the episode. We saw a future villain Batman who had killed Superman, we met Brandon Routh’s ( Ray Palmer ) Clark Kent ( let me remind you that Routh has played Superman on the movie “Superman Returns” back in 2006 ) and of course, we saw Tom Welling and Erica Durance as Lois and Clark ( from Smallville… I miss this show so much ). Barry with Mia and Sara asked Constantine to find a Lazarus Pit on another Earth and they brought Oliver back, but soulless at the moment because Constantine wasn’t able to find his soul from the underworld.

The Flash ( 6×09 )
The third part of “Crisis on Infinite Earths” was awesome! Way better than the second one. First of all, we had the chance to see The Huntress from 2002’s tv series “Birds of prey” ( I was a huge fan of the series ) so, you can understand how happy ( and old ) I felt. Another cameo happened on Earth-666 where Diggle, Constantine, and Mia went to find “Lucifer” in order to send them to Purgatory to find Oliver’s soul. Novu ( aka Monitor ) brought Vibe back ignoring Cisco’s wish not to because they needed him to vibe Nash’s memories how to open Anti-Monitor’s lair because he had lost them when he became the Pariah. There, they find The Flash from Earth-90 who took Barry’s powers ( temporary ) and he sacrificed himself to save the multi-universe… after the “Black Lightning” came to help them. At the same time, Iris with Ray and Ralph went to find another Paragon, Dr. Ryan Choi, which decided to help them after Iris talked to him. Kara wanted to try to bring the Earths back but at the last minute, Kate talked her out of this plan because it was too dangerous. Oliver ( well, his soul to be exact ) couldn’t return back because he has a bigger destiny to fulfill… to save them all. ( Of course my boy would be the key to save the multi-universe. ) Lyla returns to Legacies’ spaceship only for all the others to find out that she was actually Mobius ( aka the Anti-Monitor ) and she destroyed Earth-1 and all the others on the ship, except the seven Paragons: Sara / Kate / Barry / Dr. Choi ( Earth-1 ), Kara / J’onn ( Earth-38 ), and Superman ( Earth-96 ) who Pariah managed to save sending them away. Well, scratch out Superman though, because Lex Luthor from Earth-38 ( great job Jon Cryer ) being the asshole that we all know that he is used the Book of destiny and he changed it, putting himself as the seventh Paragon ( I mean, seriously dude? ). Now, we’ll have to wait until January to watch the two last parts.

 Legacies ( 2×08 )
What a great episode! Full of Christmas spirit ( even if it was still October on the series ) and #Sizzie hotness ( Sebastian and Lizzie will be the death of me ). The new monster that Hope and the others had to fight this week was Krampus, literally the Anti-Santa. Lizzie with Sebastian left the school ( with Lizzie’s car, which was a gift from Damon – yes, the iconic Damon’s car from TVD -) in order to go and find Landon while Hope stayed behind to help all the others because she was the only person not being “merry”. Landon and Raf went to Raf’s father and he told them the truth about why they left him. Apparently, when his mother ( she was the werewolf ) got pregnant she left and his father couldn’t find them anywhere. Hope asks Clarke’s help to destroy the monster. He tried to escape at first but the moment that the figured out that his father sent Krampus to actually kill him, turned around and helped her. They managed to free the real Santa, he killed Krampus and Ric became Headmaster again ( it was about time ). Lizzie leaves Sebastian behind but when she found Landon, who doesn’t want to go back, Sebastian kills him ( he’s a phoenix, he’ll be fine ). #Sizzie, having a fight with Sebastian trying to change the tire and things got really hot, ending up with the two of them having car sex ( you better never let Landon knows about that though ). They return back and Landon finally clears the things up with Josie and Hope. He tells them that even if Josie is beautiful and incredible he’s truly in love with Hope and we got a #Handon reunion ( yeah! ). Clarke is ready to return to the Malivore but one of his father’s monsters kills him.

I also watched: Virgin River ( 1×01 – 1×10 ), Hart of Dixie ( 1×01 – 2×15 ), Hawaii Five-0 ( 10×11 ), His Dark Material ( 1×06 ).
