Hello there my adorable little faces and Merry Christmas if you celebrate. After my blog posts “My 10 favorite tv shows of the decade” and “My 10 favorite tv couples of the decade” it’s time for the third and last one of this thread. Let’s talk about my personal favorite tv characters of the decade that it’s almost over.

- Felicity Smoak. Arrow
Felicity Megan Smoak, born on July 24, 1989, MIT class of ’09 and blonde genius at your services. That’s how probably Felicity will introduce herself if you met her at some point. We saw her at episode 3 of season 1 on Arrow for the first time and we all ( and Oliver ) fell in love with her. As is known, Emily Bett Rickards who plays Felicity was supposed to be only on that episode as a guest but she stole everyone’s hearts with her talent and personality and soon Felicity became a regular character. She was one of the three Original members of Team Arrow ( OTA ) with the codename “Overwatch”, she kicked more villain asses than any other IT team member ever and she married the love of her life, Oliver Queen. She is a mother and step-mom of Mia and William and became the CEO of Palmer Technologies when everyone thought that Ray Palmer was dead. Smart, with no filter on her tongue and hacking skills that everyone would be jealous of, is one of the smartest female characters that I had ever stan.
- Demir Erendil. Her Yerde Sen
Are you shocked that this Turkish tv series made it ( again ) to one of those lists? ‘Cause I am not. Demir ( Furkan Andic ) is a control freak! He has rules and he hates everyone that ignores those rules and disturbs his peace. Selin is one of those people. He can’t stand her but he has to see her everywhere… at their house, at their workplace, at the places that he likes to hang out. ( Everywhere I Go is literally the translate of the series title and I think you can see why. ) Through the episodes, we can see why Demir is so cold ( the series has 23 two – hour episodes ) and the guy has actually his reasons. Abandoned from his parents when he was little and later from the woman that he ( thought ) wanted to spend his life with made him have trust issues. When Selin became a part of his life everything started changing though and Demir as well. We could finally see who he really was. Smart, cute, loving and afraid that he will lose everything that loves all over again.
- Maia Roberts. Shadowhunters
Her name is probably next to the word badass at the dictionary and if you have watched the series you know why. Maia’s ( Alisha Wainwright ) family and her abusive brother never were there for her and when her ex-boyfriend bite her and she became a werewolf she left her home and never went back. We saw her for the first time in episode 3 of season 2 and her scenes with Jace became our highlights. They ( pretend that ) hate each other and their lines shading one another were one of the funniest things of the show. Barwoman at Hunter’s Moon and beta on Luke’s pack is always there when the people that she cares about need her. Later she became the Alpha of the pack and ruled the Downworld.
- Jack Pearson. This is us
Every woman ( and man ) who likes men and has watched the show agrees in one thing. Jack ( Milo Ventimiglia ) is how every man supposed to be. He’s not perfect and he knows it and that’s why he never stops trying to be there. He adores his wife and children more than his own life and he proved it when he literally ran into his burning house to save his daughter and their dog. That’s how we lose him but the perfect writing of the series and the flashbacks letting us seeing and keeping loving him unconditionally.
- Macy Vaughn. Charmed
Fearless, scientist and half-witch half-demon. This would be her bio. Macy ( Madeleine Mantock ) grow up away from her mom and her sisters but when she went to meet them, after her mother’s death was like she never was anywhere else. Her sisters and their Whitelighter Harry are now her family. She does whatever she can to protect the magic world from demons while she tries to figure out if her feelings for Harry are real. Macy will protect her loved ones without thinking about herself and that’s why they all know that she’ll be there if they’ll need her.
- Steve Harrington. Stranger Things
Let’s be clear. At first, he was a total asshole! But everything changed when the monstres became real and he had to protect the little ones of the series and he literally became “mama Steve” of the group! Joe Keery who plays Steve made us not only love his character but he is one of the favorites of the fandom. He is protective of his “children”, he completely changed and now he is a total sweetheart and his best friend is an ultimate badass lesbian who saved his ass. Steve maybe isn’t fearless or really strong, but if his loved ones are in danger you better watch out ’cause he will run out with his baseball bat and he’ll save the day. And of course, on some point, you’ll say “I’m sorry, I love you.”
- Nairobi. La casa de papel
An ultimate QUEEN. That’s what Nairobi ( Alba Flores ) is. She hates anyone who is disgraceful and evil. Maybe she is one of the greatest robbers in Spain but she is a kind, caring person who fights for what’s right. She is a feminist and a proud ally of the LGBT community. Her life goal is to get back her son and to do that, she needs money.!
- Thomas Shelby. Peaky Blinders
If you love shows about the ’20s and Mafia that’s the show for you, and Tommy ( Cillian Murphy ) will definitely be your favorite character. He’s the leader of a gangster family based in Birmingham, England, named “Peaky Blinders”. Everyone fear and respects Tommy. They know that he can be kind… or ruthless with them, depends how you’ll treat him ( and his family ). He tries to make his business legal ( or the most of it at least ) but he has no problem to use any means necessary to achieve his goals. So, if you meet him at his pub… play it cool and stay calm. He hates stressful people.
- Peggy Carter. Agent Carter
The ultimate badass SHIELD’s agent. She could kick anyone’s ass and she never feared to show her true feelings and thoughts to anyone. In a world that men had it all she fought and took what she wanted. Smart and fearless will be always first to run to save the world from anyone… human or alien. Even when she lost the love of her life, Steve Rogers ( yeap, Captain America himself ) she found the courage to move forward.
- Ichabod Crane. Sleepy Hollow
Ichabod ( Tom Mison ) died proudly on the battlefield fighting one of the three riders of the Apocalypse until he woke up 2 and a half centuries in the future. Born with one purpose, to be one of the Witnesses destined to save the world finds himself between police work and supernatural creatures that only he only knows how to kill. Ichabod will charm you with his English accent and his nobility.
