Hello – hello my little faces and have a lovely Sunday. The hiatus from Hell ( ’cause it’s Summer Time ) it’s here and I’ll do my catch up on the shows that I’m behind. Not sure what I will write, probably some episode will be really shocking… If not, my job will be very easy… Anyway. Let’s see what I watched this week.
12 monkeys ( 4×07, 4×08 & 4×09 )
So, Hannah is “trapped” in 2009 in order to find Jame’s mother. Her mission is to find her and try to learn everything about her, why she is so important and who she really is. She did actually and ( for real? ) the one with that name is actually Olivia’s daughter, Emma, who escaped from her mother and took the name Marion Woods so could be hidden from the Amry of the 12 monkeys. They gave us so many Deacon/Jennifer scenes ( my precious babies ) that I had to start thinking that something would go wrong. That bitch, yeah I’m talking about Olivia, killed Deacon! and she destroyed the place that the weapon was hidden using a paradox so it’s impossible for the team to go back in time and save their friend ( crying forever for my poor boy ). In the end, we found out the truth though. James’ mother wasn’t Emma after all ( thank you Lord ) but my beautiful unicorn, Hannah! And the ‘Demon’ from the prophecy wasn’t Olivia but James. How on Earth I can wait until next week’s two hours series finale? And why this perfect show has to ends? I don’t want to… I want to keep watching this masterpiece until the end of my days. ( If they don’t bring Deacon back and they don’t give us James and Cassie’s happy ending that we deserve, I will riot. )
12 Monkeys ( 4×10 & 4×11 ) ** series finale **
What a great series finale! It had it all. Cassie and James being adorable with each other, especially when they found out that The Demon is him actually and he decided to sacrifice himself. Cassie ( and I ) wasn’t on board with this. She was trying to find another way to save humanity and the person that she loves more than anything. They brought Ramse from the past, as well with Deacon and future Jennifer, in order to help them take over the Titan. Before that happens though, James has to do something first. He proposed to Cassie with the same ring that his father wanted to propose to Hannah when she was pretending that her name was Marion Woods ( let me here, at my corner to cry until the end of my days ). They know that they will not have a happy ending but he wanted her to know how much he loves her… With their friends’ help they took over Titan and Cassie managed to kill Olivia ( finally ). The Red Forest was only minutes away but Cassie wasn’t ready to say goodbye to her true love. James managed to convince her to close the program because even if they could manage to live together to the Red Forest, after a while they would forget everything and their love would be lost ( my beautiful romantic idiot ). We saw the “future asshole” who actually was that James, knowing everything so close to the end… After that, they said their goodbyes. They had to return to their original timelines in order for the code that would erase James to work. Everyone had their happy endings in one way or another. They grow up with their families, their kids never died… everyone from our heroes, except than Cassie who couldn’t stop loving James. He bought their house ( crying again ) and she started living there, alone… hoping. And her hopes became reality! Because the writes are beautiful creatures who gave to Cassie and James their happily ever…now. You see, before Katarina dies, changed the code to erase James Cole but to let our James live on Cassie’s timeline. ( Let me love you, my beautiful souls. ) It’s difficult to say goodbye to a show that I love so much but everyone did a great job and they gave us a perfect ending, so. Goodbye 12 Monkeys, “I’ll see you soon.”
Will ( 4 episodes )
Well, I had 4 episodes to finish the season so, I thought that it was about time. The show has been cancelled after its first season something that I was expecting to be real but I feel a little bit sad ’cause Christopher Marlowe ( played by Jamie Campbell Bower ) is my favourite and I’ll miss him. You can watch the season though if you are a fan of Shakespeare, but if you are also as my sister who hates it when series as that aren’t accurate on some matters, then don’t. They did it a little bit ‘modern’ to be based on the 16th century so… #cancelled
Cloak and Dagger ( 1×06 )
Let’s be clear. This show is awesome and the whole episode was pretty amazing but I wanna talk about the last scene.! How on Earth I will get over the fact that after Tyrone’s friend’s murder, when his powers took him to Tandy’s place, the only thing that she wanted to do was hug him and she couldn’t!!! I mean, WHY?? Just let them hug for a couple of seconds you arrogant, stupid powers!! He needed her and she wanted to be there for him and she couldn’t… my poor babies.
I also watched: Poldark ( 4×03 & 4×04 ), Cloak and Dagger ( 1×05 ), The Originals ( 5×08 & 5×09 ), The Punisher ( 8 episodes ), Graceland ( 3×07 ), The Bold Type ( 2×05 ), Gilmore Girls ( 3 episodes ).
