Star Wars Episode VI: Return of the Jedi ( 1983 )

Hey there little faces. Are you ready for the third post about Star Wars? I have totally hooked with these movies so, I believe that I will not be able to stop watching them until the very last one…

I WILL WRITE SPOILERS PEOPLE!!

After Han’s ( Harrison Ford ) abduction by Jabba’s people, Luke ( Mark Hamill ) with Leia ( Carrie Fisher ) and their friends team up so they can go and save him. Meanwhile, The Emperor ( who by the way needs a face care asap ) orders Darth Vader to kill his son, Luke, if he doesn’t go on their side. Luke returns to Yoda’s so he can finish his training to become a Jedi but Yoda is too sick and before he dies tells the truth to Luke. Apparently, he has a twin sister. And this sister isn’t other than Leia.

Leia with Han trying to destroy the shield on the new Death Star that The Empire builds the same time that Luke is there, trying to convince his father to return to the good side and to help him destroy The Emperor.

Truth be told, I found the movie a little bit slow in some scenes but I really like it. It has a great ending for the trilogy with great closure for the characters and I believe that if we never had all the other movies those three would be enough ( but we have them and thank you Lord ).

I had a mini heart attacked though. On the last scene, we have to see the ghosts ( ? ) of Yoda, Obi-Wan and Anakin’s and they have edit the film so we see Hayden Christensen ( who plays Anakin on Episodes 2 and 3 )! He was 2 years old when the movie original came out… How awesome is that? I mean, for a moment I was like “awww look! Anakin when he was young” and at the same time I was “wait a minute… this isn’t right.” Lol, I love technology!

Don’t forget to tell me what you think about the movie in the comments below or on my facebook page. Also, if you like my posts just follow my blog through WordPress or your e-mail account ( you’ll find the following buttons on your right in this post ). Until next time…

xx Marilita.
