Hello there little faces. Today I will talk you about Freeform‘s The Bold Type. It’s a new tv series ( 2017 ) and it’s only in its first season with ten episodes. We don’t know if it would be a second one but I will pray until the end of my days if that’s necessary to give us one and I will explain you why. ** edit: WE GOT IT! **

I had seen a few things on tumblr about this show, you know gifs with the girls ( the three main characters ) hanging out at work, having fun all together at their homes… stuff like that. I decided to watch it because I was in need to watch something “light” and I thought that this show was exactly that. A light girly show with humour and sex. ( ’cause, yeah… who doesn’t want to see a little of that from time to time? )

On the very first episode, I started to suspect that I had made A HUGE MISTAKE!! and I was right.! The Bold Type is a lot of things but light is definitely not one of this. This show is so deep that made me watch it on less than twenty-four hours.! You will probably say that “ok, you’re a nerd… of course you finish a ten episodes series so quick.” but let me tell you that this, wasn’t why I did it.

So many daily problems are analyzed in this series… Relationships, feminism, xenophobia, homophobia, sex issues, diseases, friendships, rape… are only a few of the main elements that we have the opportunity to analyze. I don’t wanna tell you more about that because if I made you wanna check it out I don’t wanna spoil anything to you. Trust me. It’s worth your time. It’s funny, clever, sad, and more. If you watch it, don’t forget to let Freeform know how much you loved it because OUR voices can give to this incredible show another season.!
