Hello there little faces. Today I will talk to you about another Korean production. Tempted is a production of 2018 and in the leading roles we have Woo DoHwan who plays Kwon ShiHyun and Park SooYoung in the role of Eun Tae-hee. Also in the main cast are Moon GaYoung and Kim MinJae who play Kwon ShiHyun’s close friends.

When Kwon ShiHyun’s best friend sees her ex with a girl, she thinks she is his new lover and wants revenge. She discovers that her name is Eun Tae-hee and asks her friends to help her. They accept and the search for the life of the young unsuspecting girl begins. They find out that she is just a childhood friend of Choi Soo-Ji’s ex-boyfriend but that does not stop their plans.

Their plan is simple. They have to make her fall in love with one of the two of them and then break her heart. The lot falls to the womanizer in the group, Kwon ShiHyun, who says he is confident of his success.

When his first attempts to approach her, however, fall into the void, his interest in her begins to become visible. The two end up falling madly in love but not everything is dreamy. Who will Kwon ShiHyun choose when the time comes? His friends who until then he considered his family or Eun Tae-hee who made him feel for the first time that just being himself is enough to be happy?

Although the story sounds bad and may evoke bad memories in some, it is actually a well-written drama that delves into the toxic relationships we all have in our lives and how we can get rid of them as long as we find the strength.

Remarkable interpretations mainly by the protagonist couple, with Woo DoHwan giving us his best once again, beautiful direction without anything special and fast development in the plot are some of the positives of the series.

Something that may be considered minus is that in some people as I mentioned above it is possible to evoke bad memories if they have experienced something similar.

The series has one season of 32 episodes lasting 35 minutes each. However it is available on Netflix with 16 one-hour episodes.
