Hello there my little faces. Today, we’ll talk about Netflix’s new movie Enola Holmes.
Enola Holmes ( Millie Bobby Brown ) is the little sister of Mycroft ( Sam Claflin ) and Sherlock Holmes ( Henry Cavill ), but they haven’t seeing her for many years. When Enola discovers that her mother, Eudoria ( Helena Bonham Carter ), is missing on the day she turns 16, she enlists the help of her siblings to find out what is going on.

Sherlock undertakes to investigate the disappearance of their mother, which does not seem to be a kidnapping, while Mycroft insists that Enola has to go to a girls’ school to get all the necessary education that a miss should have. When Enola finds out, however, she runs out of the house to find her mother alone.
As he heads to London where he thinks Eudoria may be, she meets Tewkesbury ( Louis Partridge ), a young Lord who has run away from his house and his family try to find him by all means.

The two of them find that Tewkesbury is in danger when an assassination attempt is made against him and Enola has to decide. Will she leave him alone to find her mother or will her plans have to wait a while to be able to save the life of the annoying young man?
At first I thought I would not like the fact that Enola speaks to the camera quite often to the viewers, but in the end it was something new for me and I found it quite neat and funny sometimes. I really liked the way Millie Bobby Brown performed the role, after all she is one of the best actresses of her generation, and fortunately the direction was pretty good.

Cavill and Claflin were great in their roles and the young Partridge surprised me as well. Especially when it comes to his chemistry with Brown. The two of them made a great team.
Let’s hope that Netflix will decide to give us more movies with Enola.
Let me know what you think about the post in the comments below. Until next time…
