Hello – hello my little faces. While you were sleeping is a romantic Korean fantasy series of 2017. In the leading roles, we see Bae Suzy, Lee Jong-Suk, Jung Hae-In, and Lee Sang-Yeob as the villain.

The story is about journalist Nam Hong Joo, prosecutor Jung Jae Chan, and police officer Han Woo Tak. The three of them, after a series of events that lead them to save each other’s lives, start having some strange dreams. These dreams often have to do with some assumptions in which the three of them are involved or how someone will be in danger of dying and the dreams are always come true.
The three of them try to use the information they get from these dreams to help solve the cases assigned to Jung Jae Chan but the corrupt lawyer Lee Yoo Beom is always against them. Using illegal means and even violence sometimes, Lee Yoo Beom will do anything to win. Even if he needs to step on people.

The series has a pretty clever script with the flow being fast. The alternations between dreams and reality are beautifully structured and very well directed. The cast is quite remarkable with Lee Sang-Yeob in the role of the villain being, maybe, the star.
Like any other self-respecting kdrama, the series has the necessary romance, but it goes deeper into resolving cases and what impact a wrong or right choice leaves on people.
