Hello – hello my little faces and have a lovely Monday. I hope that you had an awesome week, that you are all well and happy and that you watched a lot of episodes… Let’s see what I watched this week.
PS Since Game of Thrones is back, the Weekly Update was online every Monday, in order to upload about the show really quickly. This week was the series finale, so Weekly Update will return on Sundays.
THIS POST CONTAINS SPOILERS.
Arrow ( 7×22 )
I cried. A lot!! Episode 22 was season 7’s final episode and also, Felicity Smoak’s last one. We saw how Oliver convinced Emiko to do the right thing at the end ( she died though ) and how our future cutie pies ( William, Mia, Connor & Zoe ) saved the city but I couldn’t care enough for all of those because I was busy crying. We learned that Oliver had to go to another universe ( consequences my ass ) and that was the reason that Felicity raised Mia all alone. We saw them saying their goodbyes ( on a scale of 1 to Stephen Amell how much you cried? ) and I was sobbing people. In the end, we saw that at last… Felicity left her kids, knowing that they can take care of each other, to go find the love of her life ( I AM NOT OK! ) We will not see Emily Bett Rickards ( Felicity Smoak ) on the last season but something tells me that we will have a happy ending where she and Oliver will return back to their family on the last episode. Felicity Smoak came to my life when I wasn’t sure what kind of woman wanted to be and taught me to be strong, independent and to get what I want and more important: to be myself. Thank you, Felicity. You’ll always be my favorite superhero.
Supernatural ( 14×20 )
What a season finale! Chuck ( ya know, God ) came to save the day, after Castiel’s prayer in order to save Jack’s soul. Chuck has other plans though. He creates a gun that is able to kill Jack and he tells them that it’s the only way, ’cause souls are a tricky thing to play with ( even for God ). This plan comes with a catch though ( of course it does ). Whoever is going to kill Jack will die as well. Dean finds him and is ready to kill Jack ( my poor boys ) when Jack kneels in front of him and tells him that he understands ( cries forever ). Dean is unable to kill him ( he is family after all ) and Chuck tries to convince him even telling him that he will bring Mary back if he kills Jack. Sam and Dean figure out that Chuck just playing with their lives all these years and Sam shoots God with his gun right after Chuck had killed Jack ( NO ). Chuck, mad with their decision to defy him lets free all the souls and demons that the Winchesters have saved humanity from. ( This is bad!! ) The show will return next fall with its 15th and last season.
Game of thrones ( 8×06 ) ** Series finale **
What an end!! I don’t know about you guys but I liked it!! I will not write down what happened scene by scene but I will try to explain why I liked it. I didn’t feel anything when Cercei and Jamie died, but when Tyrion found them dead, under the castle’s rocks had me hard. He was so sad about his siblings. After that, when they heard Dany’s speech and he just took his “The Hand” badge and throw it away… God! It was so emotional. He believed in her and she destroyed his trust and everything that he thought right about her. Jon had me scared that he’ll do nothing the moment that he told her that she was his queen and always would be and I totally didn’t see that coming when he stabbed her. ( Bye bye Dany ). Now I will talk about CGI!!! Seeing Drogon trying to make his mom wake up made me cry people!! It was so emotional scene that for a moment we think that it’s not a fake imaginary thing but a real dragon! Bran took the throne ( even if Drogon burned the Iron Throne to the ground ) something that I was saying since season 1 to my friends and no one believing me. Sansa became the “Queen in the North” ( slay Queen! ), Arya left to explore new lands ( what an icon! I love you ) and Jon returned to the Night Watch. Truth be told I always #TeamStark and I truly wanted Jon to take the throne ( way before we learn his true name ) but… I’m ok with that! I’d like to follow Sam’s idea though, which was really close to Democracy, but he was born in the wrong century ( fantastic or not ). And now, “Our watch has ended.” Goodbye #GoT.
I also watched: Charmed ( 1×21 ), Agents of SHIELD ( 6×01 ), Supernatural ( 14×19 ), Whiskey Cavalier ( 1×12 ), Erkenci Kus ( 1×34 & 1×35 ).
