Hello – hello my little faces and have a lovely day. Today I’m gonna talk you about Hallmark’s “Sailing into love”. A really cute new rom-com.
If you are around my blog for a while I’m pretty sure that you know by now that I’m a hopeless romantic and a Hallmark junkie. This channel never stops giving me sweet, romantic and hopeful movies. When I’m sad about… anything, it’s really possible to watch one of those in order to feel better and remind to myself that “Hey dude… You believe in love. Everything will be ok eventually.” and this movie just became one of them.
Our story is about Claire ( Leah Renee ), a high school biology teacher. Claire is totally in love with the small island near to her hometown, the Blue Island. She loves it since was a child and now, as an adult adores to go her students there in order to learn more about biology and the island’s wildlife. When her old friend and captain of the boat that she uses for these school trips informs her that he sold his boat she has to find a way to come along with the new owner, one really younger and cuter captain, Tom Hastings ( Chris McNally ).
The real problems begin when she finds out that a development company has plans to buy Blue Island and build a resort there with no worries about the impacts on the ecosystem of the island or on residents’ lives. She decides to fight for the island while she has to figure out her true feelings now that her ex-boyfriend is back in town and seems to want her back.
Like I said, romance lever 100 ( with a really important message about nature ). I live for stuff like that and when we talk about Hallmark you may sure that you’ll take a happy ending as a result ( and I love happy endings ).
My rating: 7/10 ⭐️
