Hello again, to another Weekly Update!
THIS POST CONTAINS SPOILERS!!!
Pixie’s series:
Pixie here, I hope you guys are well. It was a kinda busy week for me but still, I found a moment or two to watch some shows. Let’s go talk about those that made me wanna say my thoughts.
- The Witch (1×73 ) – final episode.
This series is a Greek one called “Η μάγισσα” ( Magissa ) which means, The witch. I know that you guys have no idea what I’m about to say, but I have the need to talk about it! How on Earth did you destroy a so good series, in a freaking one episode!? I can’t – and I don’t want to accept that after 72 episodes the poor main lead went into Hell and came back not only had the chance to live a happy life with the love of her life but on the writers killed her as well!! I mean, why??? And why did no villains get punished but instead they all died as heroes? Anyway, the series was extremely good but the finale wasn’t! I will probably continue to cry randomly about Adrei and Theofano for the next few months, so…
- Lovely Runner ( 1×03 – 1×04 )
Why this series is so good?? Two episodes per week is not enough! The moment that Sol returned to the future, oh God… the way I gasped! And her picture with Sun Jae which turned up on his belongings? She is changing the future guys!! The way that Sun Jae likes her is so cute and after he kissed her, being mad at her for avoiding “the elephant” in the room without actually asking her about that is so “teen” behavior ( at least in my generation ) and made me a little bit nostalgic.
Apparently, she can return in the past but time runs differently there and she already lost 10 days. The time is ticking until her accident and Sol now is “trapped” between an angry Sun Jae and her new boyfriend, In Hyuk. I like that we can see what happened in Sol’s past with the accident, etc. They show us that Sun Jae indeed saved her back then, as he did again, but it was in a different situation and now it happened sooner and Sol didn’t get hurt. My thought about him calling her at the hospital on purpose was right though and I really can’t wait to see how this show will continue. I have big expectations and I hope that it will not disappoint me.
Utaku’s series:
Hi! Utaku here! First time in the weekly updates and I’m here with only one, but a very anticipated series.
- Love is like a cat (1×01 – 1×06)
So…Long story short, P’Uno (Thai) is a global superstar who’s afraid of animals and got forced to work at a dog cafe in Korea. Dae Byeol is the owner of the cafe and apparently, the two of them will fall in love.
This series could be very cute and have potential, but we’re already in the first half of the series, without anything happening. I love slow burn, but this is just slow. I mean, how long do we have to wait for the plot to start…plotting? We’re getting out of time guys!
Not to mention the fact that P’Uno is speaking only in Thai and all the other protagonists in Korean. I mean, they didn’t bother to make him learn just a few words to be more realistic? How can a famous idol in both Korea and Thailand, with a Korean father don’t speak a single Korean word???
I will come back for The rest episodes, but sadly, I don’t have many expectations.
So, that was all for this week guys, see you all next Sunday.
