Hello – hello my little faces. Today, I will tell you about Netflix’s brand new series. “Virgin River” is based on Robyn Carr’s books.

Melinda Monroe ( Alexandra Breckenridge ) after some tragical events that happened on her life applies for a job as a nurse on the small town Virgin River. Desperate to leave her past behind she believes that this could be the perfect opportunity to do it but the town doctor, Doc Mullins ( Tim Matheson ) has a different idea. He doesn’t want her there and he does everything to make her understand that. On the other hand, Mayor Hope McCrea ( Annette O’Toole ) and the bar’s owner Jack Sheridan ( Martin Henderson ) doing everything on their powers to convince Mel to stay.

Through the episodes, we figured out what really happened between Mel and her husband Mark ( Daniel Gillies ). But we learn about other town’s citizens’ lives as well too with their small, or big secrets.

The first season of the series has ten episodes and premiered on December 6th, 2019. The cast is really good and the direction as well. Some characters are better than others but everyone is important to tell this story. Take some tissues before you start watching it because some scenes are really emotional.
