Hello there little faces. After two great seasons and the stressful finale of the 2nd one that had left us anxious for Jack’s fate, the wait is over.

The anxiety about what happened to Jack lasted only the first seconds of the 3rd season after it took us a while making it immediately known that he is alive and that he is not in any danger at all. However, Doc and the whole city are worried about Hope.

On a visit to her sick aunt, she finds herself in the middle of a horrible bad weather leaving her with no way to communicate with her loved ones, something that makes Doc worried about her life.

She finally manages to contact him but it is still impossible to return to Virgin River. At the same time, Lilly confesses to Mel that she is suffering from cancer and her doctor has given her not long to live, something that has upset her and she does not know how to share it with her family.

Doc, due to the disease he faces with his eyes, is looking to find a replacement, something that forces him to tell the truth about his state of health to Mel. Things seem to be going well for her and Jack, until he loses his home in a fire and Charmaine threatens to claim custody of the twins with her fiancé.

Ricky and Lizzie’s relationship is being tested more and more while Brie, Jack’s sister who came to visit him, starts dating Dan. Paige’s ex-husband’s brother continues to chase her, endangering the lives of Christopher and Preacher.

Hope’s car on the way to Lilly’s funeral collides with a truck, leaving her fighting for her life, at the same time that Dan is accused of attempting to kill Jack. At the same time, a young man looking for his grandfather arrives in town while Mel discovers that she is pregnant, but she is not sure that the baby’s father is Jack.

My thoughts:

Another good season for our favorite series which not only did not tire but made us look forward to next season ( we are waiting for the confirmation of netflix ). The absence of Annette O’Toole ( Hope ) was noticeable, but the production decided it was the best way to protect her from the coronavirus pandemic.

However, the rest of the cast did an amazing job once again and the beautiful landscapes of Canada are an eye bath that takes you on a journey with its unique images.

The third season has 10 episodes and is available on Netflix.
