Hello – hello my little faces. The Falcon and The Winter Soldier finally premiered, which we were anxiously waiting for. Sam and Bucky were the favorite duo of many fans in the movies and now it’s time to enjoy them in their own series.

The series takes place after the events of the movie Endgame and the first episode was purely introductory to put us in the mood for what we will see. We see Sam continue to work on missions with the US Air Force, always as Falcon, while Bucky has stopped being the Winter Soldier and lives as an ordinary citizen, while at the same time trying to atone for the murders he committed while he was a HYDRA subordinate.

From the first episode, we have the introduction of the bad guys, a group of people who use masks to hide their identity while communicating through an application. Joaquin Torres, who has been on several missions with Sam, is asking for his help to investigate this team.

Meanwhile, we see how the lives of people who came back to life five years after Thanos’ SNAP have been affected and the difficulties they face in everyday things. Even if you belong to the Avengers. Something that is missing from the hearts of Americans is a Symbol that will give them hope again after the disappearance of Steve. That changes though when they announce the new Captain America!

My thoughts:

Purely introductory, the first episode managed to excite us a lot for the series. Action and hand-to-hand combats, family problems but also dark memories of the past were the elements of the episode making it a nice premiere with the promise of an amazing season.
