Off Campus: episode 03 “The Orgasm” – review

Hello hello,

I’m back with the third episode, damn I’m doing great here!, and I have to confess that I am obsessed with this show. I mean, I was a fan of the books as well but this series has tattooed in my mind. I literally smile at random occasions because I remember how Garrett looks at Hannah… Anyone else having this problem as well?? Tell me that I am not alone.

Anyway… Let’s see what happened in episode 3. Beware of the spoilers, though. There are a lot.

The episode starts literally with Hannah imagining having sex with Justin, but right the moment she’s ready to… yeah know, she can’t. Fortunately, she gives up and calls Garrett to inform him that they need to reschedule their tutoring appointment for the afternoon because Justin asked her to meet. My poor Garrett, who was more than ready to go to her place to study, gets disappointed and kinda jealous, but pretends that everything is fine.

While Justin helps Hannah with her song for the Showcase, Garrett tries to study at his place but he’s frustrated because of Hannah. Jules calls him a “nepo baby” and he gets mad. I mean, Jules honey… I haven’t decided yet if I like you and you’re not helping your case here.

Meanwhile, Allie speaks with Sean and tells him that an agent signed her and that could be huge for her career in the future, since she’s a theater major. Sean not only starts bitching around about his plan to go back to his hometown and work with his dad, something that he wants Allie to be part of, but he has the audacity to imply that she’ll not make it as an actress. Dude, don’t talk to my girl like that!

Hannah goes to Garrett’s for their tutoring session, and she has a small adorable conversation with Logan, who apparently fixed her car last semester. He informs her that his friend is in his room studying, but here’s the true question… did he know that Garrett was actually having sex with a girl, or not? ‘Cause poor Hannah got traumatized for life.

Garrett runs after her to apologize to her and they’re good, but she leaves to go meet Justin, who has some ideas about her song.

Later, she tries again to have an orgasm but mid-imagining Justin, Garrett pops up from nowhere ( I mean, interesting girl… ) and confuses the hell out of her.

Garrett has his exam on philosophers and gets a B+, celebrating it by literally lifting her up in front of everyone. They talk about “ghosting” Justin to get his attention more and Garrett invites her to Malone’s for karaoke with his teammates. ( Garrett my dear, I thought she wasn’t your girlfriend. )

Allie goes with them, and I have to mention that someone had to remind Dean to breathe… That boy was lost looking at her. Keep it together dude. Meanwhile, Garrett, knowing that Hannah doesn’t drink in public places, tells her that if she wants to, he’ll guard her drinks with his life if she trusts him. And she does, and now this big scary hockey player is literally holding her pina colada while she’s singing “Cherry Pie”, the song that he was listening to when she walked in his bedroom and he was with the other girl.

Drunk Allie talks about Sean in the bar’s bathroom and Dean, who is hooking up with a girl, hears everything. They are having a small conversation about what a discasting person is, according to her, of course, and let me know… I can’t get enough of them. Allie unfortunately forgets her bag at Malone’s and the girls have zero ways to return to their dorm since their keys were on the bag, so they have to spend the night at Garrett’s.

Garrett helps Allie settle in on the sofa and goes to his room, where a naked Hannah waits for him. Well, not exactly naked… she is wearing his hockey jersey. My boy is a gentleman, though and refuses to do anything since Hannah is drunk. ( I love you so much G ). Next morning, she wakes up from a text Justin sends her, asking her to meet at his place later and she has a huge request to ask Garrett before agreeing to meet Justin. She wants him to give her an orgasm.

I’M DONE. No, I mean it. I’m done. This show has destroyed me. I am thinking about them 24/7. I giggle like a schoolgirl watching TikTok videos and having googly eyes for tv characters.! I’m having the time of my life!! lol.

As the previous episodes, I liked everything. The cinematography, the soundtrack, the characters ( some more than the others ), the cast ( they’re all my babies and I love them )… everything! The episode was sweet, funny, raw and the moment Garrett saw her singing will be in my heart forever. Find someone to look at you the same way my loves.

At this point, I’d like to say something about Justin. At first, I found his voice too base. You know, he has a nice voice yeah, but I thought that he was trying too much. I have no idea if the actor sings professionally or not, or if that was how they told him to perform for the show. I thought that maybe they wanted to show us that his voice is okay, but because Hannah likes him way too much, she thinks that he is an absolutely amazing singer as well. Now, after some time though, I can reform my thoughts and say that he has a really unique raspy voice and if he wants, I believe that he could make it as a singer as well.

It’s a 8.6/10 from me.
