TV JUNKIE

My only 12%: review ( no spoilers )

Hello there little faces, did you know that the percentage of chances that our first love will be our last is only 12%?

Seeiw and Cake have been friends since they were born. Raised in neighboring houses and with their parents having a great relationship, the two literally grew up together. Growing up, they always believed that nothing would separate them. But when their classmates start gossiping about their very good relationship, the two friends start to drift away from each other.

They start socializing with other people making new friends and acquiring different interests. However, their relationship remains quite strong. Seeiw panics when he realizes that his feelings for Cake are more than friendly, but he doesn’t intend to jeopardize their friendship.

But fate intends to test them by separating them. Will they manage to keep the relationship they have even from a distance?

My opinion:

The series is beautifully structured. For us, the 90s’ generation, it will bring back fond memories of our first contact with a mobile phone or the long-lost MSN… There is real character development, something we shouldn’t take for granted nowadays in a series, and the script is very well written.

The characters are well thought out and the lead duo has great chemistry. It’s a good choice if you want to do binge-watching as the series flows nicely and the 14 episodes it consists of will keep you nice company.

It’s a 7.8/10 from me.
