Mad Dog: review ( no spoilers )

Hello my little faces. Another kdrama that you should check out is Mad Dog. The story on this series is a little different from what we are used to as the romantic element does not play a key role in this series. It is a purely adventurous series putting love in the background.

Choi Kangwoo worked for Taeyang Insurance as the head of the company’s investigation team until a plane crash turned his life upside down. His wife and son were killed along with several others during the flight when the pilot decided to end his life at work.

Unconvinced by the results of his company’s investigations into the accident, he decides to resign and start his own research company, under the name Mad Dog. With his associates, they undertake cases that seem impossible to solve while at the same time looking for evidence of the plane crash.

When the clever and resourceful Kim Minjun makes his appearance, the Mad Dog team believes that they found trouble with him. They all work in the same case, but in opposite teams and when it is revealed that he is the brother of one of the victims in which Choi Kangwoo’s family was killed, things get even more complicated.

Beautiful direction and remarkable interpretations by the cast. Clever plot with the necessary plot twists required to make the series interesting. As I mentioned at the beginning, the series lags a bit in romance… not completely, since there is a couple who flirt with no tomorrow, but in relation to other kdramas in this series it is almost non-existent but something that is not very strange as you have to think of other things.

Is everyone what they show? Are the good ones really good? What really happened in the plane crash? Who and why are people from the Choi Kangwoo environment involved in the research? With these and many other questions will leave each episode the characters who will try to unfold the tangle of confused cases and information.
