Love Alarm. Review season 1 ( without spoilers )

Love Alarm: Review season 1 ( χωρίς spoilers ) Hello – hello, my little faces. Today I will talk to you about the first Korean series that I have ever watched. Love Alarm is available on Netflix and it will definitely make you binge-watch it.! The story takes place in 2019 ( but we see some fast-forward to 2023 as well ) when a new application starts to become really popular among people. Love Alarm ( that’s the app’s name ) has the ability to connect your heart with your phone, and every time that you like someone and you are 10 meters close to that person, the app informs them that someone loves them. Well, with one catch. The app must be open by both at the same time.

Our main characters are two best friends, Hwang Sun-Oh ( Song Kang ) and Lee Hye-Young ( Jung Ga-Ram ), who both like the same girl, Kim Jo-Jo ( Kim So-Hyun ). Jo-Jo likes only one of them, though… and that’s when the problems start. Through the 8 episodes of the first season, we see some real problems that people have to deal with. Some will get addicted to the application, others will struggle with mental health problems, and other hard stuff as well. Friendships will be tested, and some people will do whatever they can in order to have more “likes” than others.

Love Alarm - Korean Drama Review It was a really good first season, and they even gave a good cliffhanger to make it even harder to wait for season 2 ( the series has been renewed ). The writers have done a good job with the script, the direction is also on point, and the careful soundtrack makes the series even better.

It’s an 8/10 ⭐️ from me.

Until next time…
