Kingdom: Legendary War, Ep2

Hello – hello my little faces. Another week that I’m late with my review about Kingdom but l was busy the past few days. Now, things are back to normal so I had finally the time to watch it!

What can I say about that? That became already my favorite reality show ( because it did ) or that I’m starting loving every single one of the groups ( because that’s also the truth )? In this episode, we saw the first part of ROUND 1. Only three of the six groups performed, so the episode was mostly around them.

The first group who performed was The Boyz. They decided to perform their song “No air” and they even went to a studio to record some underwater shots for their theme. The photos were magnificent and Juyeon’s movements into the water definitely were one of the highlights. Their stage was inspired by Game of Thrones and they made us believe that we were playing a video game since that was their plan, playing games with the camera.

The second group that performed was iKON. The group had a difficult time choosing which song had to perform so, they decided to ask their famous friends for help. One of the persons that they call was SF9’s Chani since he is a childhood friend of Chan. After a couple of phone calls, they made the decision to perform a mash-up of “Love Scenario” and “Killing me”. They turned the stage into a live musical and everyone loved it!

BTOB 4U Shares Enlisted Members' Reactions To Their Unit Debut, Current Goals, And More | Soompi

The third group who performed was BTOB. First of all, I wanna tell you, if you don’t already know that… that the group has 6 ( former 7 ) members but the two younger ones are in the military and that’s why BTOB 4U are alone on the show. Ok, back to the Kingdom. The members, after really deep thinking, decided to perform their hit “Missing You” choosing a different sound making it more traditional. They turned their stage into a forest, changing seasons while they were singing like angels, and everyone’s jaws dropped when Minhyuk turned into a kdrama character and started fighting his enemies with a sword. ( who needs a stuntman when you have Minhyuk? ) At the end, they stole everyone’s heart.

One of the highlights of the episode although ( at least for me ) was while BTOB‘s performance, when ATEEZ‘s Seonghwa had a fanboying breakdown for the group since it’s one of his favourite. It’s ok, Seonghwa… we feel you.

I liked all the performances so much… but if I have to choose only one, I’ll go with iKON‘s. I didn’t know the group before kingdom but I like the way they perform and sing. Let me know which was your favorite from the three. I can’t wait for this week’s performances though.! ATEEZ, SF9 & Stray Kids will gonna kill it as well!

** WARNING **
Any kind of hate for any of the groups or their fandoms will not be acceptable here.!

Until next time…

xx Marilita.
