Bed Friend is a Thai BL series production of 2023.
Our main characters are Uea and King, Jade’s best friends who hate each other. The two of them had met a few years back, though Jade but they seemed not to like each other. Especially Uea, who knew King’s playboy character and wasn’t willing to give a chance to the other person and get to know him a little bit better.
Life had other plans for them though and somehow ended up working at the same company, alongside Jade. When Uea ends up drunk at King’s house a night after a company party, things get out of hand with those two sharing a night full of passion that none of them can forget.
Uea tried to avoid King at first bet it’s not so easy when you spend so many hours at the same place with someone. Eventually, they talk about what happened and King seems to have zero regrets for that night. He even dared to mention that if Uea was someone else he would suggest to become his “bed friend” since the sex was pretty good.
Uea, clearly in shock at first has no idea how to react to King’s suggestion but after thinking and wanting to try new things after he got his ex-boyfriend cheating on him, he agrees with this crazy idea.
The two of them start a “relationship” based on sex and no feelings without having any idea how this will change and affect the way that they see each other. They’re ready to play, but are they ready when their feelings will start getting in the way?
I totally loved the series and just between us, I have watched it more than once. I have watched the whole series twice already and I have watched some of the episodes even more. Bed Friend is Net and James’ second job together and the first one in which they were the main leads and they totally crushed it! They did an amazing job and their chemistry was so on point that they could pass you on every little or big thing that their characters were living on.
I will not lie and I will tell you that I hate Uea’s mother with my whole heart and I want her to suffer until the end of everything. I want her to rot in Hell and she can take her husband with her as well. Another character that I disliked was Krit.! What a disgusting character!!
The direction and the writing were exceptional and every single scene especially the romantic/hot ones were beautiful. NetJames gave everything that they had and it paid it off. The final result was perfect and everyone loved the series. I personally liked everything. Even the characters or the small misunderstandings… Every single act was so well written that everything made sense at the end.
If you haven’t watched it yet I suggest you do it ASAP. If you did, well… maybe that was your sign to rewatch it. But joke aside, let me know… Did you love it as much as I did?
