Hello – hello my little faces. Abyss is a South Korean fantasy and mystery production of 2019.

Abyss Korean Drama Review | Kdrama Kisses

The main characters of the story are the multi-millionaire Cha Min and the public prosecutor Se Yeon who know each other from school. Min has been in love with her all these years but Yeon has made it clear to him that he is not her type and they have remained friends. After a failed relationship, Min decides to end his life. He regrets it, but dies by accident anyways!

When he wakes up, he comes face to face with his new self, since his external appearance has completely changed, and a sphere ( Abyss ) that enables him to bring back to life anyone who has died. He tries to contact Yeon for help but she is busy trying to catch a serial killer. Things get even more complicated when she becomes a victim of the killer and Cha Min brings her back to life.

Abyss' Netflix Review: Stream It or Skip It?

My thoughts:

The series has a pretty clever script, a fast plot and if you love the crime series with serial killers you will love it as the main plot is how the two protagonists with the help of the supporting characters try to catch the killer who manages to escape every time.

Directing and acting, the series is at a good level and you will not get tired. Of course, we must not forget that it is a kdrama, so the love between the protagonists is a given… but it does not take more time than it should.
