Hello – hello my little faces. Today, I will tell you why you have to watch the Turkish tv series ( dizi as the Turkish shows are called ) Sen Cal Kapimi ( International title: You knock on my door ).
- The story
Eda Yildiz studies at the university with a scholarship. Her dream is to become a successful outdoor designer but everything changes when Serkan Bolat who owns a designer company cancel’s his sponsorship on Eda’s university and she loses her scholarship. Not having the money to continue her studies she starts working at her aunt’s flower shop until she meets Serkan and she asks explanations about he crushes her dreams.
At first, he doesn’t want to hear her but after some time he comes up with a plan. He suggests to Eda to help him with his plan to take back his ex-girlfriend and he’ll give her back her scholarship. The plan is simple. They have to pretend that they’re in love. Even if they hate each other.
2. The main couple’s chemistry.
Hande Erçel and Kerem Bürsin who play Eda and Serkan not only are beautiful inside and out, not only have great acting skills but they also have great chemistry! You can feel it since the first episode. The way that they hate each other immediately but at the same time they’re hooked for one another, how they change minute to minute because they’re just around the other… Of course, a big part of this plays the well-written script, but trust me. The chemistry those two have will explode your mind.
3. The cast.
It’s well known that each shows that their cast had a great relationship had a huge success. Something that seems to work here as well. SCK’s cast shows every day how close all they are to each other. Backstage photos of them laughing, little pranks on videos on Instagram, and TikTok challenges are a few of the things that all of them post every day. They care for each other, they have a great time creating the series and we can all see that.
4. The fandom.
The fandom that this show has is insane! And I mean it…! In every good way! First of all, it’s huge and worldwide. They’re extremely supportive of each other and they try to show their love for the series and the cast in any possible way. But, you must have something in mind. They can roast and say anything about their show anytime that they want… but if someone outsider insult the series, its cast/crew, or someone from the fandom, then my friend… they’re dead meat!!
The series is currently on its 33rd episode and airs every Saturday in Turkish FOX and every episode is at least 2 hours long.
