The series Welcome, or as it is also known Meow, the secret boy is a South Korean production of 2020. It is based on the webtoon with the same title with Kim Myung-soo, Shin Ye-eun, Seo Ji-hoon, Yoon Ye-joo and Kang Hoon in leading roles.

The story focuses on Sol Ah who is a graphic designer but her dream is to write her own webtoon. Sol Ah has always hated cats, but when she meets her ex whom she still loves, she undertakes to take care of his cat since he is unable to do so.
Hong Jo, however, is not just an adorable white cat. When he is left alone he transforms into a human being who quickly discovers that this happening because of Sol Ah.

Will Hong Jo manage to keep his identity secret while at the same time doing everything he can to be close to Sol Ah?
My thoughts:
The truth is that the series did not go well in the numbers when it aired, managing to make the smallest numbers of viewers of the channel. But the love of the fans was made known to the friends of kdramas. It is a light story that will give you beautiful moments watching it. The bad thing is that it has some repetitive patterns that may tire the audience.
But what saves the series is the adorable fluffy snowball starring Hong Jo, but also his human alter ego, Kim Myung-soo. Who not only gave his best but behaved just like a cat.
It’s a 7.3/10 from me.
