Hello there my adorable little faces. Are you ready to read about a movie that I watched last night? I found “Timeless Love” by accident and I decided to watch it because I like the two actors in the main roles. Something I didn’t expect, was to like it so much.
The story.
Megan Murphy ( Rachel Skarsten ) has a perfect life. She is a successful writer, she’s married with the love of her life, Thomas ( Brant Daugherty ), and they have two kids; Isabelle and Dylan. Everything is perfect until the moment that Megan wakes up and finds out that she was in a coma for two months and her family isn’t real.
Beware the spoilers.
After she found out that Thomas and their kids are not real, Megan is really sad but she has to move on. She decides to actually become a writer and since she lost her last job because of the accident accepts a receptionist position just to pay the bills until she writes her first book.
Her new job is in a photo studio and she really loses it when her boss is no-one else than her fake husband Thomas. Megan is trying to stay away from him, especially when she finds out that he has a girlfriend, but she knows and feels way too much for him to achieve that.
Thomas, as is expecting ( it’s a rom-com after all ), starts feeling things for Megan as well but when he finds a list that she has with all the things that she knows about him he demands to tell him what is going on. Megan tells him the truth, but he doesn’t believe her ( do you blame him though? ) and he asks her to leave.
My thoughts.
I really didn’t expect to like it so much! The movie was really good written, the characters on point and the actors really talented. As I said before I know them from other projects and both Skarsten and Daugherty doing a great job. The ending is ( thank the Lord ) happy and the two of them end up together.
The plot was very smart as well, with Megan waking up from a life that she hadn’t lived yet and I like that we didn’t see her being selfish by trying to sabotage Thomas’s relationship with his girlfriend but just being supportive. Because let’s be clear… was the best thing to do. He had no memory of her after all.
I liked the chemistry between these two and I hope that we’ll see them together again on another project. Until then, go watch “Timeless Love”.
