Hello there my little faces. Today, we have another kdrama ( surprise – surprise ) to talk about. Suspicious Partner is one of those series that you start in order to have a lovely time watching them and you’re ending up all stressed about it until the end.
Eun Bong Hee ( Nam Ji-Hyun ) is a new prosecutor trainee who was lucky – or not – enough to get a position next to the best prosecutor, Noh Ji Wook ( Ji Chang Wook ). He is the best but really hard to get and he pusses her to the edge in order to help her become good on her job.
After Eun Bong Hee breaks up with her boyfriend she asks him to visit her in order to give him some of his stuff from her home. While he’s there someone breaks in and murders him. With not an alibi she ends up being the key suspect. Noh Ji Wook believes that she’s innocent and in order to help her he loses his job and is demoted to a private attorney.
While they’re working together, they’re trying to solve some murders and at the same time to find the real murder of her ex’s to clear Eun Bong Hee’s name.
That was the first time that I watched Ji Chang Wook on a different kind of krama. No parkour, no fighting choreographies… dorky and too serious as a prosecutor he did it again though… stole my heart. I knew that he was a great actor but actually seeing him on something else than an action series made me realize how good he is.
The series has one season with a total of 40 episodes, 30 minutes per episode and it’s available on Netflix. ( On Netflix the episodes are 20 but it’s the whole series. )
PS: The series is also known as “Love in trouble” but it’s not the official title.
