Hello there my adorable little faces! I just watched Evi’s ( from Series Division ) new video on YouTube and I totally liked it, but also… I stole her idea as well! LOL. First of all, click to watch her video ( it’s in Greek but show her some love – and clicks – ). I decided though to tell you my personal favorite tv shows from 2009 – 2019 but not in a particular order. Let’s get started. ( for links click the bold pink words )

1. SHADOWHUNTERS ( 2016 – 2019 )
   On her 18th birthday, Clary Fray finds out that she is part of a world that it’s hidden on our own. Demons, Vampires, Werewolves, Angels, Faeries, and Nephelims are all real and they all want one thing. The Mortal Cup that they believe that she has. Definitely one of the series all the decade with the most loyal fanbase with also no drama who fought like no tomorrow ( even if we lost ) when the network canceled the series. We managed to win a decent closure though.

2. SENSE8 ( 2015 – 2018 )
   
   A masterpiece! What you’d do if one morning woke up and find out that you are connected with seven strangers from all around the world? Capable to share thoughts and feelings and more importantly sharing skills? It was a huge success for Netflix, especially because it was a project really opened minded on the LGBT community, and still now… no one can understand why ended it up so soon.

3. 12 MONKEYS ( 2015 – 2018 )
   How will you do react if one day a really hot but insane guy came to you and told you that he’s from the future, a deadly virus was ready to unleash to the world, you are the person who can find the cure… but you will die? Creepy huh? Better watch Cassandra’s reaction by watching the series – wink wink -. Timetravel, messed up timelines, insane allies who became enemies and the other way around and a so strong love story capable to destroy the past, the present and the future.

4. PRODIGAL SON ( 2019 – PRESENT )
   Malcolm, is a regular child obsessed with his father’s job and how he wouldn’t be when his father is one of the most famous surgeons of his time? Something that Malcolm won’t know until he opened that box on their basement one day was that his father was a serial killer as well. As a grown man now, he uses the skill that he has to think like a serial killer himself in order to catch bad guys and save as many lives as possible. Excellent storyline and unbelievable cast!

5. ALTA MAR ( 2019 – PRESENT )
   Another brand new series that made it on my list is “Alta Mar” ( English time: High Seas ). After World War II, two sisters take the decision to leave their lives in Spain behind and move out to Brazil, traveling there with the ship that the fiance one’s of them owns. Everything seems idyllic on this floating palace until the moment that people start losing their lives and it’s up to them to find out what’s going on.

6. LA CASA DE PAPEL ( 2017 – PRESENT )
   
   Everyone knows about “La casa de papel” even if they haven’t watched the series and I mean EVERYONE. Originally, the series had only one season in Spain and that was it. When Netflix bought is though and people from all around the world started binge-watching it nonstop they knew what to do. Took the rights of the series and they keep giving us new seasons. How many years will keep watching Profesor and his team robe banks and mints is unknown but do we want them to stop? The answer is NO.

7. STRANGER THINGS ( 2016 – PRESENT )
   If a few years ago someone had told me that I couldn’t wait to watch a tv show with actual kids as the main characters I would laugh. I wouldn’t now. “Stanger Things” is one of the most successful series of Netflix and no one can say otherwise. Supernatural content, parallel worlds, government conspiracies and a team of teenagers who are capable to solve all of these problems. El and her friends are planet’s only hope and no one even knows that, but they don’t care. The only thing that they want is to kill the monsters before anyone else is in danger.

8.  ARROW ( 2012 – 2020 )
   What can I say about the first series of DCTV universe and the royalty of them all. “Arrow” not only brought my favorite superhero in life, but it gave me the ultimate queen, Felicity Smoak and #Olicity. When Oliver returned home after five years in an island forgotten by God was a changed man. He put his life’s purpose to right his father’s wrongs and save the city from all those that they destroy it. He never thought that he’ll also find a family on his new teammates and that he’ll be able to fall in love with a person that would become the light of his life ( I will never stop talking about who beautiful #Olicity was ). The series will come to an end though after its return from the fall finale.

9. THE WALKING DEAD ( 2010 – PRESENT )
   Zombies, soulless humans, and good buys are all trying to leave peacefully together… #not. After Rick Grimes wakes up in a hospital coming across the reality that the world turned into Hell ( literally ). Humans are turned into zombies who kill other people for food and all the humans that managed to survive are leaving all together in small communities trying to survive. The scariest part isn’t the fact that they are in danger to become meal or turn into zombies as well… is the fact that the true nature of humans comes out on the surface and it can be more deadly than any other apocalyptic event.

10. HER YERDE SEN ( 2019 )
    I couldn’t close this article without the series that changed my life this year. It has only 23 episodes ( but it’s a Turkish one and that means that it’s 2 plus hours per episode ) but gave me hope, beautiful memories and a fandom that I will always have in my heart. Selin had it all. Her dream job, working with her best friends, her beloved pets and a bank loan for the house that she bought. Her life was perfect… until Demir came into it and turned everything upside down. Now they have to live at the same house ( because they both bought it ) and work together, despite the fact that they hate each other, because Demir is her new boss. Will they kill each other or they will find a line between their lives and work in order to save their beloved company? Spoiler alert, they’ll fall in love lol.
