Forever by Maggie Stiefvater

Hello – hello there my adorable little faces. Today I will talk to you about the third book of The Shiver Trilogy written by Maggie Stiefvater, Forever. You can also read my two other posts about the previous books here: Shiver and Linger.

IT’S SPOILER TIME!!!

Grace between her werewolf and human self, because it’s too early in Spring, is trying to go back to Mercy Falls and Sam. Isabel, who continues not answer at Cole’s phone calls, finds her and brings her home until her friend becomes a werewolf again. When she finally controls ( kinda ) her human side goes to Beck’s house in order to find Sam.

Together, they decide that she has to tell her parents and Rachel that she is alive so the accusations on Sam’s name, because of her disappearance, to stop. They tell Rachel the whole truth about the werewolves and when Grace goes to meet with her parents they have finally a decent conversation.

At the same time, Isabel finds out that Tom Culpeper, her father, organises to hunt down the wolves and informs Cole, Sam and Grace. Cole, in order to find a cure, starts to do experiments to himself and one of the results is to make Isabel even more mad at him.

When the time to the hunt comes closer by second, Cole asks Isabel to help them and forget that she hates him because she will not do it for him, but for Grace and the wolves. When she finally stops being angry with him and realises that she doesn’t hate him but she’s in love him the hunt has already begun.

Will she manage to save the wolves and stop her father? How many will die if she doesn’t make it be there in time? Will she lose her friends, Sam and Grace? Will she have the opportunity to ask Cole to forgive her, or she will lose him forever?

Definitely my favourite books from the series for now. I’m currently reading the fourth and last one, Sinner, and something tells me that this would be the best one after all ( will see though ).

Tell me what you think about the book or/and my post and leave your comment below, or on my facebook page. Until next time…

xx Marilita.
