Hello there my little faces. Today I will talk to you about my new favorite tv series ( aka my new obsession ). Erkenci Kus is a Turkish tv series and it’s in on its first season. Every episode it’s 2 plus hours and… trust me, you will never want them to end! But let’s take it from the beginning.

Last Saturday, after a long day out of home I returned really tired and the only thing that I wanted to do is to curl up on my bed and watch something to relax. I opened my Tumblr to check out my account and that’s when my “torture” began. I saw some gifs on one of the people that I follow and I immediately wanted to check it out. And so I did and never stopped!! Literally… I watched 19 episodes ( 2hours plus each ) in 2 days…

The story…

Sanem Soysal ( Demet Ozdemir ) is a 25 years old dreamer who wants to be a successful writer and move out to Galapagos. Although, right now leaves in Istanbul and works at her father’s grocery shop. When her mother and her sister Lale ( Oznur Serceler ) tells her that if she doesn’t find a decent job she will end up married to Muzeffer, Sanem asks her sister to help her. Long story short, ends up working at the same advertising company as Lale.

At the same time, Can ( Can Yaman ), a successful and really famous photographer ( not to mention hot and beautiful guy ) returns to Istanbul for his father’s company’s party. His father tells him that he wants to make him CEO of the company now that he will retire because his brother Emre ( Birand Yenilmez ) isn’t ready to take such a responsibility.

Emre has other plans though. He forces and misleads Sanem and makes her steal information from Can’s office so he can give them to his girlfriend and partner in crime, Aylin ( Sevcan Yasar ). Everything goes out of control really quickly though, the moment that Can and Sanem see each other, because they totally fall in love. Now Sanem tries to stay away from him in order to not hurt him more but it’s not easy when he does everything that he can to make her his.

My thoughts, without more spoilers.

This series is totally a diamond! Maybe it’s a typical “girly” tv series, but everything is well written ( even the characters that annoy you ), and trust me you’ll want to watch it forever. I believe that Can and Demet’s chemistry is on top and even when they don’t have lines together, the way that they look at each other will make you lose your mind.

They really gave me #Olicity ( Oliver and Felicity from Arrow ) vibes and this is something that I don’t say for everyone. For those that know me, they know that #Olicity is my number OTP and #CanEm is totally really close to them right now.
