Hello – hello,

I started listening to Yongguk’s music 5 years ago, when I met “Utaku”, and she mentioned B.A.P to me. Then she told me all about them and the group’s tragic story, and I decided to give them a try. I immediately fell in love with their songs and their talent, and Yongguk became my bias in no time.

For years, we kept listening to B.A.P and to the individual music careers of the members since “Arte” ( our new Fearless member and my old friend ) has been a fan for years as well. The thing with me is that I love manifesting things, and I always liked to say that the group will make a comeback together ( something that already happened ), or in that case… That we’ll somehow attend a concert of theirs.

Our chance came when our leader, Bang Yongguk, announced his new tour, including a few stops in Europe as well. We had already two times lost the opportunity to attent on one of his solo concerts in the past… But, long story short, this time we managed to book our tickets and arranged a small girls’ trip ( including my best friend who doesn’t like K-pop) to Warsaw.

The trip was a huge success, we had the time of our lives ( I love those girls so much ), but the absolute highlight was, of course, the concert. My best friend didn’t want to attend, but the Fearless Team was there and let me tell you that it was the best concert we went to in our lives! I’m not sure what exactly happened, but I believe that we sold our souls to him at the end with that small pinky promise. ( Let me know if he did pinky promises to all the stops, lol )

After a small incident at the beginning of the show with losing power, everything else went really smoothly. The crowd was absolutely amazing and respectful ( yeah guys, we already loved your city… no need to do that ) and Yongguk was the sweetest celebrity person that I have ever seen at a concert. The venue was small, since it was actually an underground rap show, so there were way fewer people than in an arena or a stadium.

But in my opinion, that made it 10 times better. You could feel that you were making eye contact with him, and Yongguk made us all feel seen. Not in the wrong delulu way, but in a way that made you feel that he was thanking you for being there. I personally felt so comfortable ( usually, big crowds are not my favourite thing, and I feel overwhelmed ), but not this time. It was as if you had seen your friend perform and you’re just so fucking proud. 

Every song, every small break, and his interaction with us was absolutely amazing. He was shy and a total performative beast at the same time ( no idea how he managed that ), and he had us all… i don’t know, spelled? I don’t have another explanation. This man probably made us join a cult or something because how is it possible to still think about his show almost three weeks later?

I truly adored his performance and the whole vibe it had, and I truly hope all the other stops, both in Europe and Asia, have the luck to experience it the same. Bang Yongguk is an amazing artist, and he deserves the love that he receives. 

To many shows, I hope, my dear leader. I promise I’ll do my best to book at least one show per tour every time you announce one. 

( At this point I maybe should tell you something more about the tour, but I’ll wait until after his show in Seoul. I’m excited… But I’ll keep my mouth shut for now.)

Again, I’d like to thank Yongguk for an amazing show and Warsaw for its beauty and its amazing people. You all made our trip unforgettable.
